How to Configure or Use "Private Meetings" Settings 


When you receive a private meeting invitation or create a private meeting, You can manage your "Private Meetings" through Quicklaunch.

There are 6 different settings, To access the different settings enable "Allow Private Meetings on Calendar" 



(Settings (Ctrl-Alt-s) >Calendar>General> Private Meetings)


How the Different Settings Work:


  1. Allow Private Meetings on Calendar: If you enable this setting, Private meetings will show on you Quicklaunch Calendar. 

  2. Allow Add Participants: If you enable this setting, It will allow you to add participants to the meeting though Quicklaunch. 

  3. Allow Send group email: If you enable this setting, It will allow you to send a group email to the participants through Quicklaunch. 

  4. Allow Show Meeting Details: If you enable this setting, It will allow the details of the Private Meeting though Quicklaunch. 

  5. Allow Show Meeting Subject: If you enable this setting, It will allow the subject of the meeting show. 

  6. Allow Join Meeting: If you enable this setting, One-Click Join will enable for your private meeting. 


How To Create a Private Meeting:

Create a Private Meeting with any provider - We'll use Skype for Business as an example.


  1. a) If all Private Meeting boxes are checked to allow in Quicklaunch Settings, then the Private Meeting will be displayed like a normal meeting on the Calendar.
    b) Alternatively, if all Private Meeting boxes are un-checked in Quicklaunch Settings, then the Private Meeting will not be displayed at all.
