The following provides guidelines to add a Network Folder or share to an action tile on Quicklaunch. If credentials are required it will prompt the user. 


Enter Settings-  Ctrl-Alt-s

  • Select - Actions
  • Select the Application Group
  • Click '+'
  • Click -  Add Program
  • Click - Select 



 

  • Select - Show Advanced Settings 



  • Type in your Name - 'Network Folder'
  • Type in the Program Path - '%WINDIR%\explorer.exe
  • Type in the Argument (your network path) - Sample here' \\IluminariNAS1\Ilum.....'
  • Select - Start New Instance
  • Select Icon Data - Choose from Catalog or paste in the XAML Code

If you want to control which display it starts on add a display rule

  • Select '+'
  • Name the Display Rule - 'Network Folder'
  • Add WIndows Lookup - Select - Class Equals, Type 'CabinetWClass'
  • Click - 'Save'
