Microsoft Teams Configuration and Use

Microsoft Teams has changed over the past year and will continue to evolve. Quicklaunch will evolve as Microsoft releases APIs that will enhance the end user experience.

At this point in time you can Join a meeting as a guest (Anonymous) or as a team member (Host). Joining as a guest allows you to go straight to the meeting but requires a host to admit the room. Joining as a team member or host requires an individual to login with credentials.

Microsoft Teams has a couple different clients, the web browser or the desktop application. The web browser is great for companies that do not own Teams but may want to join teams meeting and is the default. The Desktop Application (32bit or 64bit) is the best choice for companies that own teams and allows users to join as guest or as a team member.
