The Skype Debugger (DisplaySkypeDetails) displays active Skype for Business meeting information to help the Quicklaunch support team diagnose Skype for Business issues.


If you are asked to run the Skype Debugger please follow these instructions.


Setup a Skype for Business Test Meeting

  1. With the conference room account, set up a Skype for Business Test meeting. Make sure to invite qltesting@ucworkspace.com

Download the DisplaySkypeDetails Program

On the conference room computer:

  1. download DisplaySkypeDetails.zip from: https://qlinstall.ucworkspace.com/utilities/
  2. unzip into a temp folder


Run the DisplaySkypeDetails Program


On the conference room computer:

  1. Close Quicklaunch
  2. From Outlook, start the Skype for Business test meeting using the thick client (do not use the web browser)
  3. While the test meeting is in progress, run the DisplaySkypeDetails.exe
  4. Copy the screen information and attached to the support ticket email
